Kain... Sorry but I just got to this post. Sorry, but I am @ work right now and unless I have the ability to:

1) See through walls

2) See throught trees

3) See through hills

4) See about 20 miles away

5) See through my speakers

6) Be able to read backwards on the back of the speaker

(BTW, I don't posses the power to do any of those)

You will have to wait until I get home tonight before I can answer your question. http://216.37.9.58/ubb/icons/icon15.gif

Sorry man, but I was not blesses with those powers.cwm21.gif

Kain... Hey buddy, the back of my RF7 says 8ohms and 250 watts.

Is there a possible chance that there are different watt measurments for different parts of the world? I'd be giving "K" tech support a call.

Kain... You may just for $hits and grins may want to check up on that. Are you sure it's just misslabled? If so, then blah... what the hell, you never see the label anyway.

Hi Kain,

Sorry but I just read this thread. Mine are 8 ohm, 250 watt which is good 'cause my 5803 puts out 170. Who the heck would listen to these things with 250 watts anyway. I can't turn mine up all the way with what I got without shattering the windows.

I LOVE MY KLIPSCH

Take care

Rick

I just received a reply from Klipsch regarding the labels, this is what they said:

The 150 watt reading on the label you have is a mis-print. They are rated at 225

watts RMS actually. Thank you.

What is RMS? The Klipsch "guy" said that they are 225 watts RMS, what does that mean?

I believe RMS is the same as continous power. The max power rating is usually higher, but if you run them at max power, you will damage them.

If RMS is the same as continuous, then why did he say 225 watts? Aren't they 250 watts continuous?
