m00n
Kain... Hey buddy, the back of my RF7 says 8ohms and 250 watts. Is there a possible chance that there are different watt measurments for different parts of the world? m00n
Kain... You may just for $hits and grins may want to check up on that. Are you sure it's just misslabled? speed3
I remember a while back reading a similar thread from someone with the same concern. Apparently, their RF 7's said 150 watts also. I believe that someone from Klipsch posted there was an error in labelling on a few RF 7's. Probably you got one of those sets.

Dafishguy
Hi Kain, Sorry but I just read this thread. Mine are 8 ohm, 250 watt which is good 'cause my 5803 puts out 170. Who the heck would listen to these things with 250 watts anyway. I can't turn mine up all the way with what I got without shattering the windows. Kain
I just received a reply from Klipsch regarding the labels, this is what they said: quote: The 150 watt reading on the label you have is a mis-print. They are rated at 225 watts RMS actually. Thank you. Matt Whatley Technical Support Klipsch Audio Technologies My new labels are on their way. ------------------ Coming soon... Kain
What is RMS? The Klipsch "guy" said that they are 225 watts RMS, what does that mean? ------------------ Coming soon... Gregorius
I believe RMS is the same as continous power. The max power rating is usually higher, but if you run them at max power, you will damage them.
