Kain
How do I take off the grills on the RS-7s without damaging the grill? I tried today but it seemed like I was going to break the grill. ------------------ Coming soon... m00n
Kain, the little pegs should slide out. They are a little, stiff isn't the right word. It's more like rubber on rubber and how when you rub rubber togeter is causes friction. Have you ever changed a tire? You know when you put a tire back on, you have to do a star pattern? Well, think the same theory when pulling the grills off. Pull the top out just a bit (not all the way), then the middle 2 then the lower two, then go back and put them all the way out. ------------------ m00nsCinema to be m00ns current toys FRONTS: RF-7 CENTER: RC-7 SURROUNDS: RS-7 SUB: RSW-12 RECEIVER: Harman Kardon AVR 520 DVD: Harman Kardon DVD-50(DD, DTS) VIDEO: InFocus ScreenPlay DLP Projector COMPUTER: ProMedia 4.1 c>Microsoft XBOX with Monster cable for that 5.1 Dolby Digitial surroundc> f>
Soundthought
How do you take the grilles off the RF7s.. VERY CAREFULLY! LOL. I like mOOns' suggestion. That is probably the best way to do it. Good Luck. BTW. Congrats on the new system. Enjoy. ------------------ You should of heard just what I've seen. Orange Peel
RS-7's guys, not the RF-7's. As for the RS-7's, they should be velcroed on the sides, they shouldn't break off, there's no plastic pegs like the Rf-7's have. So just slowly/gently pull on side of the grill off then it will "peel" off to the other side. That's how the RS-3's work, I would think they are the same. ------------------ Scottc>s> Goldsmithc>s> Home Theatre:s> Klipsch RF-3's (Front Mains)c> Klipsch RC-3 (Center)c> Klipsch RS-3's (Rear Surrounds)c> SVS 20-39 PC Plus Subwooferc> Harman Kardon AVR-520c> Mitsubishi 60" Big Screen VS-60609c> Denon DVD 2800c> Sony DVD DVP-S530Dc>
Soundthought
He He. Whoops. At least someone was paying attention. About the RS7s. The velcro spots on the speaker likes to come off when you remove the grilles. A bit of glue cures it. I replaced all the factory velcro on my 4 RS7s with an industrial grade velcro. Works great. ------------------ You should of heard just what I've seen.

Kain
Thanks guys. I got the grills off. The main reason I wanted to take them off was to check if the woofers were okay, and they are. Grills are back on. ------------------ Coming soon... TheEAR
A warning,do not place the RS-7's too close to your ears or blood may come out! I did a big mistake to use RF-7's as sourrounds! LOL Its a lethal combination, proximity plus R series Klipsch equals ear bleed. Enjoy your speakers, congrats yet again.
