There was no criteria for making the Top Ten on Ebay, so your guess is as good as mine. My criteria would be: 1. Great sounding (not necessarily the all-time best sounding) 2. Good resale value on Ebay 3. A speaker that is usable (not a museum piece) 4. A speaker that is in good supply

That Dynaco A50 is an incredibly good sounding speaker. It has that Norway made Seas tweeter, and deals can be found. The A-25 is outstanding as well. edmjm
I had the a35's hooked to a 15watt marantz ss & was real nice. then a friend came over with his musical paradise 301 & those little guys jumped to life like I'd never heard before. been hooked on tubes ever since. juniper
No list is complete without Altec 604's and sadly bose 901's...... A well put together 604 system will make Cornwalls sound shabby...

JJK Point source! Set up right, I have never heard a speaker resolve so much info in a medium size room which most use for 2 channel...... If you want to hear a lot more, on a good recording? Try a pair, it takes work, but I must agree with stereophile in their article "five speakers you should hear before you die" 604s are on their list and they should be, if you want to hear what was recorded... Sadly they are not plug and play, they take a very careful thoughtful execution,,,,
