Kain
Do I need a special "subwoofer cable" for my subwoofer(s) or will any speaker cable do? Meaning, the cable that I use for my RF-7s can also be used for the subwoofer(s)?
m00n
Kain, for what it's worth I purchased a special sub cable for my subs. If you notice the subs don't take just a bare wire connection ( well the RSWs don't ) they take a rca connection. They obviously will come in different grades thus different prices. I think paid $60.00 for a 12" cable. There were cheaper ones but.... Hope this helps.

danbry39
Got both my sub and component cable from a Canadian company, Rhinocables.com after hearing about them on several boards and have to say I'm extremely pleased.
prodj101
I have to say I did notice the bass was a little tighter when I got my monster bass 400 or something cable. It's really hard to notice unless you do side by side comparisons. It wasn't like going from my JBL-PB12 to my RSW-15.
TOPDAWGFOX
MONSTER CABLE HAS TWO OPTIONS FOR A SUB CABLE, SERIES 100 OR 200, BUY 200. THE CABLE COMES IN 12 OR 18 FEET
boa12
monster also has a 300 & 400 sub interconnect, & probably about 10 others. i use a 400 & its fine. probably would look at one of the nice audioquest now, say <$100. i'd make sure it has 2 things - at least double shielding & solid core wire. Orange Peel
MonserBass 400 sub cable, best bang for the buck. I got mine for $59.95 retail. Great cable. But if you and your dad have a lot of money, which is kinda seems that way, shoot for the M-Series Sub Cable, M Series Bass 1000 This way you will be done with it Here's a link..... http://www.monstercable.com/productPage.asp?pin=1206&mixtype= But the MonsterBass 400 is a really nice cable, I have no complaints. gooch
I purchased a cable from Parts Express. I picked up the 'Dayton 12' Subwoofer Cable', and I am very happy with it. Of course, my ears probably aren't as sensitive as others, so the audible difference between this and others are virtually nil. http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&User_ID=8575270&St=1143&St2=-53207689&St3=-49496960&DS_ID=3&Product_ID=117461&DID=
