JohnJ
@dirtmudd April Wine - wow that's one I'd forgotten. Playing KC too - that Primus has a sound like KC's Discipline to it. This one's for you!!
JohnJ
Nice find with Angus playing that! LPs being 180 doesn't always make them better. Highway...... brand new doesn't sound as good as my first copy even with it's surface noise from hundreds of plays. Powerage sounds pretty good at concert levels though!

sunburnwilly
I love Accept especially back in the day . Saw them at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta on the Metal Heart tour 1985 . Flash Rocking Man
JohnJ
Not HEAVY MAXVOLUME But better cranking it up nonetheless! "Skating Away on the Thin Ice of a New Day" Jethro Tull's War Child cd
sunburnwilly
Nice For me max volume is 90% of what I have ever played . It's rare that I don't incorporate max volume with whatever I like at the time . That being said , I am really into manic tempo and drive and always have been but especially now . More interested in something that gets me off my *** than makes me ponder what if 🙃 I don't remember if I was 12 or 13 depending on when this came out but Santana's Open Invitation was playing at a max volume loop within my nogin on a regular basis https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xjiJeNNeVYw&list=LLAKTmVmCGL-lsPSetlBIpXg&index=7&t=0s

Never saw Sabbath with Dio but the first time when they had Ozzy in the late 70s was great. Many off of that "The Dio Years" compilation and of course Paranoid played then. "Holy Diver" tour in Atl was intense too! Edited June 24, 2018 by JohnJ fix the decade
