Hate to tell you ... also got an Oppo 980 this morning Tried it on My Marantz 2252B and KPT-904's. Awesome ... much better than my cheap 6-disk changer. But the 6-disk is sooo convenient ... wish someone made a hifi version OK; back to hooking stuff up. Cheers, Emile

I have an old 6 disc player in the bedroom, have to tell you what happened once. We were going to a cabin the the mountains for 10 days a few years ago, over the Christmas holidays. So I packed up the old 6 disc changer a HK 930 and a pair of RB-75's. brought a bunch of burned disc's and a few store bought Christmas disc, thought I was all set. Well not so much, the old player would not play anything that was burned to disc, never crossed my mind it was that old. We were really limited to music, but that player is still in the closet with the 930, at least I now know after hauling it 10 hours one way.

Except I asked him to turn the two RC-7 I use for surrounds into dipoles, and he said he could not do it, so I don't know if he is really any good at it. 2 hours ago, dtel said: I love this idea, I hope it becomes standard on all receivers. It will be. A lot of things are going that way like WiFi routers. It probably costs 1% as much to build an Android/iOS app compared to a Windows App, and they can be changed and updated far more easily. We have great apps made by high school kids because it is so easy and flexible. More exist than people know about. Integra has two.

I know they will play but did that change what the cabinet/driver was tuned to with the other driver/cabinet ? Just wondering, I was thinking cabinet size was to match the performance of the driver, or are the needs the same just better quality ? The RF-5 and RC-7 use the same exact woofers so I didn't have to change anything.
