glens
I read the first linked-to thread in that link immediately above and was very surprised to see so many folks having their ac routers set up with the same SSID for both bands. Why would anyone even do that, much less blame the endpoint devices for getting confused about it?

Not all consumers are network educated. It is up to the companies to bring a fool proof product to the market. Both Amazon Fire Tv and Google Chromecast illustrate that this is perfectly possible: the "set and forget" principle. If they can do it, why can't Bluesound? johanness
I’ve got two Hypex NC400’s powering my RP8000’s. A Marantz SR7013 to do the rest. I’m not complaining.

glens
https://www.hypex.nl/ is up and running just now for me here. Maybe a name server, router, or the hosting service was down when you tried it earlier. I'm huge fan and I'm only running an OEM (NAD) implementation of their UCD module. I'd love to have an nCore board. I'd hook up an LED to the available pin to indicate clipping. Wish the UCD had that.

glens
That's because hypex.com isn't correct. Their registered domain is hypex.nl
