tripod
Did anyone here ****** up these RF-3 II's for $295? I saw them listed, spent 5 minutes thinking about it, and both pairs were sold! I'm just hoping that they at least went to someone here. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=801208358&rd=
NOZ
I saw them after they were sold. Something weird about the specs. The specs are for RB-5 II's. Hope they clarified before they bought.
tripod
It gets WAY weirder. I emailed the guy to verify that they were the II's since RF-3 is mentioned in the description, but the title says RF-3 II's. I also asked if factory serial numbers were intact. His reply: "Can you explain what the differnce between the RF-3 II's, and the RF-3's. Please Reply," I replied with the limited explanation that I was capable of. I also asked if he had a large lot of these available since I saw that he had two separate auctions which both ended very quickly. His reply: "I think that you are mistaken on my eBay ad, Because for the price of $300.00 I only offered one speaker and not a pair, I can sell you the pair for $579.00 + the shipping charges, Let me know if you are still interested or not, and I will go to the warehouse and check on the Box which one I have, But I do have more available for sale," I then replied with a rant about the deceptive nature of his auctions and how he should expect very unhappy customers. Needless to say, I won't be ordering from him. I would suggest that others be very careful if they decide to buy from him.
mike stehr
Damn highway robber! So some poor sap will win the auction, and then have to pay another $300 to get a pair when they find out the auction was for one speaker. Great. bullsprig
the ebay ad clearly says "speakers" which I believe is plural and means more than 1. An auction for 1 only would of course say "speaker". A fraud has been committed.
