geezin' Posted March 5, 2022 Share Posted March 5, 2022 After seeing the results of my readings I tested the dB with my iPhone and the Niosh app. The tone at normal level reads 76 dB and loud reads 96 dB from my listening position. If the efficiency is near 102db/1watt then 96db sounds right for 1/4 watt of power since you need to double power to gain +3db. 1/2 watt brings you to 99db, 1 watt brings you to 102db.
