I would have to give the edge to the JBL M2 in terms of music accuracy.

the package includes Crown top of the line amps ,  that's a big part of the sound of the M2

Yes sir. I have budget for the speakers and amps. But I admit I have no knowledge on programming the settings for them.

scroll down to downloads , if you're having issues ,  call JBL tech support in San Diego  , the contact phone number is in the text document

The DSP settings from JBL are already loaded into the I-Tech amplifiers. I would not let any concern about DSP deter you. BTW, The JBL M2 is where I am personally headed

Any updates on this?

Bob assisted getting me started on AL and DSP.. DSP gear has changed slightly since then.  Great results.

I wanted to chime in on this.   Did you ever get a pair of M2's?   How do they or did they compare to your Underground Jubilees?   I'm getting the itch for a change and have been eyeing up the M2's due to their size, and what seem to be good reviews.

Thanks

Rumor has it that these are no longer allowed to be sold to the public without special permission.

The last sets being sold, sold for around $20k.

I heard a rumor that if you reach a cinema dealer that could sell, you could purchase the black units for $9k but thay may have just been a rumor. I suppose if you were building a commercial theater, you could buy them, just expect to pay $9k-$20k if not more.

The pro cinema KPT-Jubilee/535 was discontinued when the Heritage Jubilee was released.  It is no longer listed on the "Behind the screen" page of the pro website (https://www.klipsch.com/pro/pro/cinema-3/behind-the-screen).  Maybe a dealer like American Cinema Equipment might have some old stock, but there won't be any new ones coming out of Hope.

I'm only assuming this, but from what I gathered from the site, is that anything referencing "535" appears to have the 402/510 combo. If accurate, then technically you would be correct to say a Jubilee isn't a 535, as the Jubilee would be referencing the bass bin. But again, only assuming.

What was sold through the cinema division as the KPT-535/Jubilee / Underground Jubilee is no longer available.

No they were not. The 535-B Jubilee came with Jubilee bass bins, K402 mid horn, and 510 horn for tweeter. They are the only three way Jubilees. After hearing two-way and Three way Jubilees, I can definitely say that they benefit from having a three-way configuration with a tweeter.
