prodj101
well, I was just wondering what you guys would suggest for both scratching and listening to music. The technics is a proven turntable, but on paper the numark is much better. more tourque, interchangeable tone arms and what not. but, the turntable will also be used for scratching a fair amount, so keep that in mind. I already have some Ortofon Concord cartridges ($110 each), so if that matters.
justin_tx_16
technics are extremely durable... keep that in mind. the industry standard for Dj'ing
prodj101
yah, I'm well aware of that, but, just because the numark's are newer doesn't mean they're worse.
Invidiosulus
I don't know much about the DJ scene but I think I heard that DJbaby anne uses Numark tables exclusively. Peace, Josh
Mighty Favog
Not all 1200mk II's are the same. Some have internal parts from different manufacturers. I think there is some sort of letter designation that determines what it has in it. Even on Panasonic's page they show at least two different ones. I'll see is I can find the Technincs club page. Sorta like what Roger Russell did with McIntosh.
