Marvel Posted October 6, 2023 Share Posted October 6, 2023 Since no one said it clearly, the bottom of those cabinets have a piece of 3/4 inch plywood, slightly smaller than the cabinet width and depth that is screwed on and covers the access to the 15 inch woofer. Some can respond a little higher. A La Scala bass horn will not go much below 60 Hz, even under the best of circumstances. Some folks confuse woofer with subwoofer, and think the bass driver in any speaker is called a subwoofer, rather than a woofer.
