derrickdj1
looking for the best way to hookup Quad model S 4 to a Yaqin MC 13 S integrated amp for 2 channel and Pioneer Elite for HT. I have a Niles spliter for the Yaqin and Elite avr. The problem is I can't use the preouts on the elite because the elite avr will not recognize the Yaqin amp. Do I need a second preamp of some type. I only use digital media so a phono preamp is not an option. Edited December 11, 2023 by derrickdj1 add more info
babadono
What do you mean by it won't recognize it?

derrickdj1
If I use the preouts on the avr the avr does not connect to the tube amp. In my other setup, HT(see signature) I used the Yaqin connected to a Samsung avr which had preouts. I was hoping not to have to use a BD in this system. Schu
Best way... do a wire swap. I did that for years.
derrickdj1
Problem solved. The no picture, sound was not an avr problem. The Roku 4k stick was bad. The Roku interacts with the CEC (ARC, HDMI Control All, etc) on some AVR's depending on monitor age and avr age.
