Jim Cornell
Why dont you guys hook up with pyle driver? There also an american company, thats been kicking it, for years!! They make really rugged drivers, that would last a long time!! Youll just have to modify, or have them make the simular tweeters!! I caint imagine a set of Khorns that could handle 5, or 600 watts!! Imagine that, Klipsch fans!! Regards Jim
T2K
I thought Klipsch owned Pyle? Keith
Jim Cornell
Kieth, i dont think so, but if they do, i think id be smart to mention them!! Not knowing they did own Pyle!! They might not be as efficient, but it would keep the heritage in line!! And they would handle 400 or more watts!! Not that they need it!! myram
Well if I'm not mistaken, all the Heratige line of speakers can handle 1000 watts peak as do most of Klipsch speakers, the 100 watts is a very very conservative rating.
JohnA
I believe Klipsch DID, at one time, own Pyle. I'm not sure they still do. The woofer supply for the Heritage line is not in question, at this time, it's the squawker driver and perhaps the tweeter. John
pzannucci
There used to be a link on this site to Pyle. Peter Z.
jdm56
As for klipschorn, belle klipsch and la scala power handling, my latest literature states it as 100W continuous, 400W peak. ------------------ JDMcCall
Jim Cornell
Power handling isnt really the concern, i did at one time see a set of Pyle Driver horns, that were almost the same size as the sqwaker in my cornwall!! Looked pretty heavy duty, all metal horns, and they did look new! It was just the idea, and if Klipsch at one time did own them, the quality of Pyle, is the reason why i suggested them! Im wondering now if i should try to get new diaphrams for my extra K77Ms or just toss them out!! Who does make the K33E woofers anyway, i heard Emenence and ETC over time?
