LOL. Both of them know more than I ever want to about this stuff! If it works when I turn it on and it sounds good, I'm happy. My scott sounds really good right now!1.gif

If someone was selling an amp with just output tubes; I would assume they are weak, since outputs degrade faster over time than inputs.

Poor business to sell an integrated with no inputs.

Even if you were to seel off expensive old stock tubes buy some cheap ones to replace them.

I would walk away from that deal.

This thread was entertaining!

Maybe our two Scott self proclaimed resident experts could benefit by reading the following links. It would certainly contribute to clear some slight misunderstanding they seem to have about phase splitting devices. Sorry for the "gibberish tech talk" involved in these thread but you either understand this stuff or you don't.

Simple stuff first:

Pro cathodyne camp should rejoyce with this:

Lots of interesting stuff here:

Now from a tube iconoclast I enjoy:

In the Kingdom of the blinds the half blind is king?....

Nahhhh....

Enjoy the read guys!

Good Morning -

I am Holly C., taking care of some thing at my uncle dodgers. He was kept overnight because the operation stuff bothered his asthma.

He just called me a little while ago and asked me to check his messages. I did and called him back. After I gave him an overall, he asked me to do a couple things they are = send his apologies to other members of the forum.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

He said if he had known it would create so many argumentative replies and arguing he never would have asked for an answer. I AGREE!!!!

If any of my employees went on like this I'd write them both up. First amendment is great but I wonder if the simple question was answered I don't want to read all of what went on and I don't understand it but that's me. What he asks or buys is not up to me I just do what he asked. I just add that what I read is squabbling between 2 people that believe what they believe. I can't believe that 1 question got out of hand. I'm sorry I don't mean to show my thoughts on my uncles sign in. Holly8.gif

Holly,

I hope your uncle is doing fine and yes this thread is a sad thing. But I would like to point out one thing I was attacked first and was just defending myself. Its to bad when a outsider that doesn't even own Klipsch speakers can come into a forum for strictly financial reasons and try trash a long time standing member that has served, helps and shared experiences with his fellow klipsch lovers.
