I've a chance to purchase the 25wpc monos and the line-stage preamp for $750.00. Before I give this guy a yes or no I need some input. Currently, I have a 299A and I like the sound of it, I know that there are better amps out there for a higher price of course. Will this purchase be a mind-blowing step up from where I'm at or is this more of a lateral move? I do not mind trying new equipment, but I do not want to go through this just for two pieces of additional equipment. Your inputs are solicited. I cant imagine this but if this IS so, I would advise to snap this up since EITHER go for this amount depending on the day. Yes, both of these are for $750.00. I'm going to call the guy this morning to see if he still has them. I'll let you know when I get my hands on them.
