Rudy81
Khorns are fantastic, but 12K for a pair? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3057131937&category=14993
Frzninvt
This guy needs to put the crack pipe down and go to bed. That is ridiculous! They are $7500 brand spanking new from the factory. At that price you not only could get a new pair of Khorns but a pair of new La Scala's to boot or a couple of pairs of Heresy II's. Don't these knuckleheads do any kind of benchmarking prior to listing items up for auction. Well he just wasted money on auction fees for sure. What a dope! JBryan
What if he actually were to sell them.....?
Rudy81
That would indicate two dummies!
dougdrake
What do you want to bet he fat-fingered the price. Probably should be $1200.
mark1101
Yup, an idiot for sure. If anyone bids let me know. I'll offer my LaScalas to them for $3,500, a substantial Christmas discount.
mark1101
I couldn't help it....I emailed the seller to try and explain life in the big city, etc. and how much people pay for used KHorns. I bet he'll fix it. Might be that he really did mean $1200.
Rudy81
The average person would think it was one zero's too many. However, he or she obviously didn't check the listing prior to posting.
Rudy81
I e-mailed the poor guy too. Suggested he or she add some pictures, serial numbers etc. Those look pretty nice from a distance.
Frzninvt
I broke down and emailed him as well explaining what they cost brand new and suggested he do some benchmarking. We'll see what happens I suppose.
artto
Maybe he's native Japanese & just hasn't priced things over here. I've seen Khorns going for that much over in Japan. But hey, I'm not going to complain! It's about time we see some major price increases (new & used) on this component. It's been vastly underpriced compared to other "high-end" audio (or 'designer' clothing & cars for that matter) for a long time.
3dzapper
Your emails obviosly had the desired effect. "The seller has ended the auction early necause of an error in the listing" Rick
