Moit
Sorry to post a thread in the 2-Channel section that may not belong, but I have to share my excitment, and this is where I primarily lurk and learn. Under the "Updating Older Speakers" I noticed these Forte II's for sale, and just sealed the deal. I own KG4's and RF7's. I can't wait to here the Mid Horn in my own home. I may have to invest a little cash and a lot of time into a fixed-up Scott by NOS. Moit

dougdrake
I have to brag - I also scored a pair of Forte II's in near-mint condition locally (no shipping) for $200 a couple of weeks ago DD

Audio Flynn
Super buy on the Forte! It does not get much bettert han that. ------------------------------------ Have you noticed there are very few KLF-20 owners on the forum. I drooled over them in the mid 90s when I could only afford KSB 3.1s; due to the growing family situation. Anyone ever listened to them much with tubes? WMcD
Beware jealocy my lord, tis the green eyed monster which mocks the meat it feeds upon. (sp) Congrats. If anything, you might be selling your RF and KG. Gil
NOSValves
Doug, You do have a way of scoring great deals ! Craig
Moit
It looks like I will see these by Friday. I will AB them with the RF-7's and KG4's. I am interested in comparing the 3-way design to the 2-way design. No tubes to drive them with, but a decent HK430. Moit
itsmyforte
after you a/b them your going to be getting rid of the kg's i bet. maybe even the RF7's. i'm interested in what your findings are since i own the same thing combination. NOSValves
Moit, From what I have heard the HK430 will sound pretty darn good with them ! Its not tubes but just the same it will do nicely from reports from other around here. Craig
leok
Forte-II and RF-7. There's a familiar combination. I think you need both. leo
Moit
I don't post to often, but I do Lurk and Learn. I was in on that HK430 flury about 5 months ago. Picked one up on e-bay for cheap, and cleaned it. All based on this forum. Great Speakers. Great Forum.

space_cowboy
Audio, Although my current rig is quite modest compared to most of the forum members I still enjoy my KLF-20's. They sounded great before I got the tube stuff, but now totally destroy the H/K in terms of sound while playing the LP's. I bought them sight unseen from a Tweeter store in the DFW area. Have never heard any of the Heritage line, but figure I'll always keep the 20's.
