Tom Mobley
So, seeing as how the forum software seems to to like to eat a pic if it's in the first post in a new thread, no pic here. see next post. Tom
Tom Mobley
first pic, no flash, vertcal streaks are actual rain in Phoenix. water was running off the roof over the garage. voltmeter on top used to check drivers, look OK to me. Erik Mandaville
what a trip, Tom! You put a big effort in getting those. When you're up to it, they could be refinished and would look incredible. Even as is, they have qualities that many collectors probably wouldn't want to change -- the patina that reflects their life! Great, though, thanks for sharing! Erik
Tom Mobley
here is the dated wooden horn, other is clearer but no date.
Tom Mobley
thx Erik. I will refinish them, the lacquer is too nasty to be in the living room. But, I'll do a nice job, keeping the detail.

Tom Mobley
tweeter, they're EX-T35 with PWK K-77 metal emblems stuck to the back. similar to the K-55's. the 55's are serialized, but my pics didn't come out, flash washed out the pic. I say again, these are big, really big. there's going to have to be some sort of an adjustment with that piano. this is where the negotiating skills with the wife come in. Tom Mobley
well, typical new installationbugs, speaker wires too short, amp pwer cord too short, so I end up with this for tryout purposes, sub-optimal.jpg Rega and Scott, this deal is really cookin. cued up now: Loggins and Messina, Full Sail. second track has some killer Sax. shows off everything these speaks do best. Now I need to build an equipment shelf. I'm thinking granite countertop material, rough-edged, in wood stand.
