easylistener
Here is a picture of my new tv and system. You can see by the picture some of the problems I have with the aquimium. It is fun to see the water dance out of it when the svs is hard at work. It is a 75 gal so it is a ton of water. I still don't know how to size the pic so if some one could do it for me I would appriciate it. Let me know what you guys think. It isn't the best but it does it's job. Orange Peel
Looks great, what the hell is that above the tank? Is that an air conditioner??? If so, how's the noise that thing puts out? I bet you are in heaven now, a nice RPTV makes a system come alive! As for sound goes, not sure if the tank really is effecting anything, the sub doesn't have "direction" as far as the sound goes, so the tank isn't blocking that. The RF seems to be far enough away that it's getting the sound out ok. I bet your fish hate you though
easylistener
Ya that is the AC. It is realy quit though. I live in WI so it doesn't get used all that much. The fan cycles with the compressor so it isn't always on. As for the fish, they just kind of huddle in the middle and don't move all that much. Thanks for the input. Orange Peel
I guess that's why you have an A/C unit like that, don't need a big 12 scheer like you do here in AZ haha, the fish kill me, poor little bastards getting beat up in that tank with the SVS kickin' Just think of the Darla scene in Finding Nemo, it's like that constantly for your fish when you are cranking it. Have you calibrated the TV yet with Video Essentials or Avia? If not I highly recommend it, you won't believe how jacked these TV's come out of the box. And also, for resizing pics, download a free pitcure editor, like Paint or something, you may have it on your computer already. Just resize it with the editor then upload it, all it takes. easylistener
I will have to try the software. As for the tv I am waiting for next month. It needs 100 hrs of burn in. I have eye bald it. You are right they are why high out of the box. I bought it at CC in town and they sub out all of the calibrations to the local ifs guy. I get one calibration a year free. I wish I got that, I need to do it myself or pay the big bucks for one I have an extended Warranty on mine through Ultimate Electronics, I wonder if they would do that?? Hmmmm... skonopa
Yeah, I'll admit - I was one of the ones that asked for pics . Anyway, that does look nice. One of these days, I'll get the bigger TV, but I find I usually use my system to listen to music, so the TV has not been real important upgrade to me. Orange Peel
Good job on the resize, just a touch too small though I usually go to a 800x600 or 900 width x whatever the corresponding height is. Just for those people that still use 800x600 resolution Not too big but not too small.
easylistener
For the first time it was OK.
Orange Peel
Yep, you did alright, now you can just play around to get the best size and whatnot, before you know it you will be a pro telling newbies how to resize their pics!
easylistener
I used Kodak easyshare. It was easy once you know what you are doing. Now I have to figure out how to make the cd.

picky
Hey, Easy: Nice-looking setup. I, too was wondering about your fish and the SVS Sub. That thing must be like a defibrillator to them. They probably think that you are always watching episodes of 'ER'.... "CLEAR!!" .......SPLOOOSH!!!! -Picky
easylistener
Here is one part of the crack in my ceiling. It keeps getting bigger every time I push the SVS.
easylistener
Another part of it. It was very hard to get my camara to focus on it for some reason. It is two feet long now.

ironwoods
"I guess that's why you have an A/C unit like that, don't need a big 12 scheer like you do here in AZ"- What is a scheer?
Orange Peel
I may have spelled it wrong, I think it's seer, the seer is the size of the a/c unit, better efficency of the A/C unit, a 12 seer is a large A/C unit that will cool the house quicker and cost less to do so. Some crazy people go for 14 seer here in AZ, I have a 12 seer unit on my 1400 sq ft house. You will also get homes that run dual 12 seer a/c units
Deang
"SEER" is the efficiency rating of the unit. It doesn't mean it cools better or faster, just that it's using less electricity while doing it. A 12 SEER unit will usually pay for itself after 10 years.
