Generation X takes its name from a book of that title, authored by Douglas Coupland in 1992. In 1992, he defined Generation X as being aged about 20 to 33 -- in 1992.

That puts GenX at about 32 to 45 years of age, today.

Not that it matters much, really. I think it's great that people think Heritage speakers are ugly. It's also great that some people don't like lasagna.
