Frzninvt
I am going to replace a couple of my K400 horns with the composite K-401 horns so I ordered them through Klipsch parts. However, I also wanted the small reddish gaskets that create a tight seal between the mid driver and the horn. I got a part number from Klipsch (157041) but Klipsch parts says it is a part that I cannot order? Huh? Where and the hell can I get of couple of these things? Help! Frzninvt
Disregard! Klipsch came through for me once again and hooked me up with the gaskets. Are these guys the best or what?

Frzninvt
Thanks for the photos Jim, not much I can do with the damaged driver though. I haven't a clue who could service something like that and I only really need the one working one. Thanks for the offer to send it though I appreciate it. jhawk92
Frz- I bought a set of the 401 horns last year. What are the gaskets you mention? Would I need them if I swap the 400 for the 401?
hoggy
Actually they look like the gaskets that are in a normal water hose. Wonder how close to the right size that is. Who knows, maybe pick a couple up at the local hardware store and see if they will fit. hoggy
Tom Mobley
I found something in a hardware store for it. The OD was OK but the ID was too small so I adjusted it with a razor knife. No sweat. I also used a little anti-seize compound when I assembled them. Steel and aluminum don't always get along so good.
hoggy
Actually any kind of gasket material should work. I suspect it's only there to keep from buzzing from vibration. hoggy
