Dan308
I have a chance to buy a B&K 507 new in the box for 1500.00. I know this is a good price but should I part with the cash? And how good is it? I have HD cable and a crappy YamRX-V620. Dan
MrMcGoo
Dan, Be careful!!! New in box for a B&K 507 at $1,500 is extremely low. Is the dealer authorized? If the deal is valid, then it is a very good buy. Go for it, but only after doing your homework. Bill
Fish
Thats a great deal and b&k prices are fallin'like a rock.Like Bill said,do your homework.
wheelman
I know its off a little this question but mayby not. How does b&k compare to rotel? Because i can get some good deals on b&k used.
Darren
I was interested in B&K, but couldn't get them where I live. I went to Rotel as a second choice and have been very pleased. Honestly, if was starting over and had my choice, I'd likely go with the Rotel now. There are cheaper and more expensive options, but you get a lot of bang-for-your-buck with Rotel. Another big plus - the signal-to-noice ratio on Rotel is extremely good (check out the specs compared to others) - I think this is important when you're driving sensitive speakers like Klipsch. All that being said - B&K are extremely nice. May come down to what you get the best deal on.
wheelman
Yes i noticed they pick up every little flaw or goody. I always liked the rotel designs. Pretty tough looking some of them.
Fish
I agree w/Darren,the Rotel has the least noise I never heard.
marksdad
ive had both in house, the rotel for about 9 months, the b&k for about 5 months, and the b&k is just better at everything than rotel, absoulutly everything
SteelerFan
The 507 for $1500 NIB is a steal. Just be careful it's not literally so.
glr
Where did you find the B&K for $1,500? That sounds too good to be true.

MrMcGoo
I agree with arthurs. The deal is excellent, but you have to wonder why it is so good. Bill
arthurs
I have to wonder why deals like that never happen to me....
