Hi Guys,

I have a pair of corner horn speakers that I built last year. They have Al Klappenberger designed crossover networks. Thanks again Al for all the help.I have a question. When I turn my system off I hear a whoosh sound followed by a fairly loud pop.Is there some kind of filter that can be installed to fix this?

Wwelcome. You'll like it here. I don't have any info for you but questions like this are best asked either in the Two Channel, Updating Older Speakers or Technical Questions Forums. That's where the guys with expertise in crossovers tend to hang out. So repost it to any of those forums and I am sure you'll get some help

It's the preamp dying and still being amplified by the power amp.

The proper turn on sequence is source to power amp and turn-off is the reverse, power amp to source. If you happen to have a receiver or integrated, it needs service or replacement.
