If I get the Klipsch SC-1, Klipsch SF-2, and Klipsch SS-1, do I NEED a Subwoofer? Or will the Mains be enough?

Well, I'm not sure how much money you'll have left after your speakers to spend, or whether or not these are even available, but might I suggest a Velodyne subwoofer? I'm all about Klipsch, but a small Velodyne could probably match the sound of a larger Klipsch, if you're having a space issue. Check out the HGS series at www.velodyne.com

Jo Jo...give SVS subwoofers a try. i promise you, there will be no going back to boxes and cubes. those modestly priced tube shaped subs go so-o-o-o-o deep, I'm talking below 15hz to dig out all the signal in movies and music. I made the change from a Klipsch ksw-300, which i loved, and i have zero regrets. i am hearing and feeling "new" bass from my dvd's and LD's, and all i can say is...

resistance is futile.

we are the borg...

I dont know..

From MOST people I have talked to.. say the Velodyne HGS is practicaly THE subwoofer to buy.

BUT, I would wait untile Klipsch releases theyer Subs.

Theyer big boys is going to have Dual 15 inch Cellematalic woofers... Very scheeet.
