neo33
These tubes are huge! I am sure someone here will enjoy them as I have. The requirements: You must be a 2-channel forum contributing member. You must have a love for tube amps. You must either pick up these tubes in California bay area or pay for shipping. You must give me a compelling reason why you want them. And you must not reveal my identity. The first one that met the above requirements with a PM to me will get these nice tubes.

ben.
How'd they sound in your SETs Neo? I've never heard of TBDs. Are they a kit?

edster00
Neo, I think he is referring to your SET monoblocks (TBD).

For the other 2A3 owners, I am also in the SF Bay area like Neo, but I have suggested that rather than take ownership of the AVVT's, I'd like to audition them for 30 days and pass them on to another 2A3 owner. A great opportunity to give everyone interested, the opportunity to experience them in their amp, to provide a better frame of reference to what they are currently using. It's better sharing the goodies and the experience. Klipsch out.
mike stehr
Yeah, I'll take good care of them!
neo33
Some members were asking if these tubes have mesh plates. No they don't. Each tube have a huge wire grid in the center and two huge solid grey plates one on each side of the wire grid.
Deang
Ah! Much better criteria Neo!

3dzapper
I refuse to grovel neo, but, if you find it within your heart to send them to Rhode Island they will be put to good use in my DRD amp I am building and a tryst in the Wrights first. neo33
Webster: tryst - Pronunciation Key (trst) n. - An agreement, as between lovers, to meet at a certain time and place.
3dzapper
Isn't that what I said? If the AVVTs are as good as claimed would it not be a meeting of lovers? Rick
edster00
I would like to withdraw my request and rationale for acquiring the AVVTs. I will gladly pass the timing of my PM (especially if I was first) to 3dzapper.
3dzapper
No,no,edster! I am not trying to supplant your place in the que. Rick
edster00
I am not trying to intimate that you are, 3dzapper. I'm just bowing out of the 'competition' voluntarily...I'd rather not be considered.
