johnymac
I have been thinking about purchasing a KLF C7 for years. By what I am seeing I wish I had done years ago. I see one on Ebay for $499.00. No bids on it. I am in search of one Medium Oak in mint condition. Does anyone know what a good realistic price would be? I sure would appreciate it. My front channel consists of 2 KLH 30's. If I can't find a C7, would it make sense (sound ok) to buy one of the new RC7 center channels? Any suggestions sure be appreciated. Thanks to all that reply in advance. mandi
If you do a history search on ebay I think you will see they are selling for less than 499 (two autions ended in July at 285 and 355). I think the 499 is wishful thinking.
redtop
johnmac, If you want a truely matched front speaker array, find another KLF-30 and do a HornED mod to it. Search for "HornEd" and look for topics from May of 2003. If you can't make that work because of space or placement limitations, a C7 is your next best bet. If you go to Ebay for a C7 be patient. Like Mandi said they go for $250-350 all the time. The 30's are great speakers, but the RC-7 will not voice match. Your patience will be rewarded... cjgeraci
I used to own a KLF-C7 and sold it last year. PM me. I'll give you my thoughts on prices, etc. Carl. P.S. I agree with Redtop on the voice matching. The KLF-C7 and the RC-7 sound pretty different. You would be best-served waiting until you find one at a decent price. alkemyst
I cannot find the exact KLF-30 HORNizontalizED articles just mentions of them....what forum is it in? The KLF-30 may end up a Heritage replacement for me (or 20's...I am still debating it)

Lankhoss
I bought a KLF-C7 on ebay last year for about $275, I think. It's black finish, but in perfect shape. You can find them all the time for about $300 - $
