It is the DA-3555-21 grill fabric from Wendell Fabrics, Dura Crest fabrics calls it the #17 black. The sample that I got was pretty much identical to the fabric on my other Klipsch speakers. Not that common from what I see out there, and really nice when new I'll bet. I just won these speakers and someone's cat had absolutely tore the heck out of the grill cloth. The speakers themselves are beautiful, function perfectly, and I'm still not believing I got them for $301.00. They are dark walnut and I tried the black grills from my '80 blond oak heresys. Not as attractive. So I was hoping to find a light brown ranged tweed pattern to offset the dark brown wood and restore these beauties to their full potential.
