I caught two guys with leaf blowers (the scourge of quiet living in surburbia), got my dB meter out. 106 dB at ear level. These 17 year-old kids were destroying their hearing by running these monstrosities 8 hours a day for minimal wage. I gave them each a pair of E*A*R tapered plugs and told them where their boss could buy quantities. Lab Safety Supply Michael- let's be careful out there!
