customsteve01
I set my referance volume at 75db using my Rat Shack digital meter and I always end up turning up the center channel during the movie so I can hear the dialog. I was wondering if anyone else has this problem. Steve
toddvj
Once in a great while, I'll have to adjust the Center Channel Level, but not often. I remember I had to on "Master and Commander..." because the sound effects were so loud.
JJkizak
Just switch your processor to PLC II and you will get center volume up the ying-yang. JJK
DRYFLY
What do you mean by PLC II?
Frzninvt
Should have been DPLIIx = Dolby Pro Logic IIx I prefer the DD or DTS settings over the DPLIIx. It is not your system settings it is the DVD's soundtrack mix I get the same thing from time to time on certain DVD's where the dialogue is sometimes undiscernable until you bump it up a db or two. Olorin
Strange, I never have to move mine. Maybe I have it set a touch hot to start with. My Academy is +4 to the Fortes all the time.
D-MAN
I REALLY need to get a horn-driven center. I used to think that anything would work, but with corner horn mains, I have changed my mind. The answer I have is YES, I have to CRANK the center channel so I can hear it off axis (its cone). DM
