klipschmnfan
Had a great conversation with the gentleman that owns Sound Anchors in Florida concerning the terrible feet that the RF-7 uses. He directed me to the "cradle style base" for the Rf-7. Does anyone have this for their RF-7s? It's a great design that uses 2 x 2" steel for the sides and the speaker is sandwiched between the plates and whole whole base is spiked...Each stands is an impressive 20 lbs. Just wanted to throw this around in the forum!
m00n
what kind of finish does it have to prevent scraping the veneer?
colterphoto1
Sounds like a good idea, if nothing else, than from a safety point! M
ygmn
I have no problem with my RF7 feet and using the Klipsch supplied spikes... they are steady...and very safe... not sure what that huge metal contraption would offer as an improvement... To me it would be a tad ugly....IMO
CECAA850
Do they make speaker grills?
arthurs
I have the SoundAnchors custom made for my Nautilus, but they sit under not cradled like these. They are a definite plus in my case, not sure about these though. I'd be inclined to go with the existing RF-7 spikes.
