r.cherry
darn it http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5778965739&rd=1&rd=1 close to me, just don't want to compete in here.
colterphoto1
yeah, I'll compete with you if you like. Western Kentucky is 'close' to Ohio-- I like your idea of 'close'. Go for them, I was just kidding about the competition. Hope you get them. You'll want to put your FOrte's in the garage! Michael
r.cherry
that is a hard one to answer, i really like the way these fortes sound. i need to compare them side by side and see. the corns might be in the garage since they aren't as pretty and i spend a lot of time in there as well as the office/living room. Piranha
IMO that's not too much for cherry 1977 CD-BR. To me they are some fine looking loudspeakers. I'd lose the grill cloth myself.
fini
I think Gilbert should buy these. They're in Gilbertville, after all.

colterphoto1
Do Rich a favor, find out if Gilbert wants these as his 31st and 32nd Cornwalls (whatever) and has any intention of bidding on them or is willing to let Forum bro Rich have a shot at it. Before the last day of bidding please? M
fini
Right. I'm on it. I think I will poll everyone with an eBay account, to be on the safe side...
tpg
Wow... these are only 30 miles from me! I've never seen any Klipsch go for sale this close to home. He is asking way too much for me, though.

DizRotus
Place you max bid with less than ten seconds to go. There is no operational difference between two or three ports. Some time & motion guy probably got involved. If your max fails to meet the reserve, perhaps the seller will let you BIN for your max. That's how I got CWs. colterphoto1
didja get em??? saw bids for $600 and $800- someone wanted em a WHOLE lot more than someone else! Michael
DizRotus
The bid increment was $10.00. The second high bid was $600.00. Can someone explain why the winning bid was not $610.00, rather than $800.00?
