texxas guy
anyone got a site they would suggest? I am moving my rack to the rear of my room and will need a set 25' to 30' long. I'm not looking for "audiophile grade", just some good cables that will properly carry the signal without costing a fortune. Thanks, Larry

IAmtnbikr
RG6 and get the proper ends for it. I had some made by the local Klipsch dealer because they shot me a killer price on them, and I figured I could use the time spent instead making money building trannies instead of cables! They work great.

bvbull200
You could go to your local Best Buy store and buy a set of Acoustic Research Pro Series II component video cables in a 25' length. They are somewhere in the neighborhood of 100 bucks. Not sure what the prices are on some of the other suggestions, but I just have seen them there. westcott
Cables are cables to me but the connections are what separates the truly good designs. I too have been very happy with the quality of the HDMI, component cables, audio cables, sub cables, and speaker cables and their connections from www.bluejeancables.com . No smoke and mirrors. Just straight forward information and what they use for cables and connections and why. And if you have forgotten what good service is, give these guys a call. That reminds me............... cjgeraci
A disclaimer. I do have some very, very nice audio and videophile cables on our plasma in our family room - and sometimes I think the cost was worth it. Although, with the recent price of gas - maybe not so much. World and personal events are starting to make me rethink everything, including zillion dollar cables. Take a look at these: http://cgi.ebay.com/25-ft-PYTHON-Gold-25-COMPONENT-VIDEO-CABLE-HDTV_W0QQitemZ5808950277QQcategoryZ32835QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I picked up some of these for our primary music system (secondary movie system) downstairs a couple of weeks ago because I wanted to move around the monster audio racks (with the tubes and solid state). Despite their low price, they do a really nice job with video with my flat screen monitor. I was pleasantly surprised. Carl.
