joessportster
I was having one of those days today, in class for 8 hours listening to a teacher that knew less than the supposed students, ( i hate days like this, seem to drag forever ), i get home and find a package on top of the speaker, AAAHHHHHHHHH !!!!! finally here my new box set of 180 gram remastered from original masters AC / DC 13 album box set, and may i say they sound sweet on the k-horns nothing like some ac/dc to soothe the savage beast. only 7 more weeks of school to go, maybe my parlorphone blue box beatles set will show up and save my mind for a few days when the ac/dc fails anyone that is into classic rock and runs across the chance to get the ac/dc set i would definately vouge for the quality this is a very nice set. joessportster
MAYBE HES NOT ANAL RETENTIVE ABOUT SMALL STUFF LIKE SPELLING, maybe he was just sharing some insight into the quality of a box set of albums incase anyone on here was actually looking for AUDIO ADVICE, OR OPINIONS. i quit worrying about spelling when i left grade school, i guess some people have nothing better in there lives than to critisize others over meaningless dribble, heres a hint find a hobby or something to fill your life that you enjoy and you will have less time to act like an a$$. 3dzapper
Hey Joe, I thought about you today when I went to the dentist. Parked outside was a BossHogg small block V-8 bike. What a monster!!! I didn't have my camera with me but here is a stock shot. I guess from reading that they don't have good brakes or suspension. Rick
joessportster
that boss hoss is a mighty machine way more than i would want to contend with, i sold the sportster last year thinking i was getting away from riding, i bought a 1985 flhtc (tour glide ultra) last week i was amazed at the comfort of ride compared to the sporty but the weight is what is a huge supprise almost dropped the thing in the yard. the windshield is a god send, couldnt beleive the amount of wind it actually deflects. nice to know im thought of in good ways!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i guess i should change my name on here and other places to joesglide whatcha think????????? kev313
That name sounds a little too "porn star" for my taste. Sold the Sporty, huh? Got sick of the wind over 70? That IS a downfall, but the bigger Harley's just don't do it for me, personally. Too comfortable, maybe. I've actually found that, although the Sportster is lighter, it is harder to upright b/c of the weight distribution. The thing is so topheavy that its first inclination is to flop over. joessportster
hey kev. i was against the larger bikes as well at first, however i was having a breathing problem that forced me to consider never riding again, so i sold the sporty (very reluctantly) after selling the sporty i was able to go wild with upgrading the stereo. now that i have finished upgrading that i had a neighbor come bragging on a sweet deal he made on an old triumph, so i got the bug for a bike again, i happened on a fella selling the tour glide and i got a sweet price on the thing, i test rode it and that windshield made a huge differance in breathing while on the bike and after i got off, not sure how much riding i will be able to get in , with my new job but at the price i couldnt say no. i looked at it as a savings acount deal i wont lose any money and may make a few bucks after a ton of cleaning. joessportster
bike has a stereo on it but that is coming off, no cup holders or cigarette lighters will be aboard either HA HA !!!!!!!!!thinking about replaceing the front end with a fat boy style with passing lights and a windshield (a much meaner look IMHO) Joe
kev313
Nice. Congrats on the new bike. The only thing that matters is that you are riding!
