Julie,

This is the very first Trachorn prototype made by Martinelli (www.woodhorn.com). It's now painted black and is in my center Belle Klipsch. It's a replacement for the K400 or K500 midrange horns in the Klipschorn, Belle Klipsch or LaScala and is available from me. This one has the driver mounting board held on with wood screws. The latest version uses long machine screws and nuts but it's identical otherwise.

I think this whole "cross-over" thing is BS and will be glad to pay

Dean for providing new cross-overs that improve the sound of my

Klipschorns.

While at it, if Craig wants to prove his amplifiers would improve my

satisfaction over my cheap Chinese amp, I am more than willing to

listen to a set of VRD's.

I bet neither take me up on the offer even if I pay for shipping.

Julie,

Here's an example of PWK's early horns (from the book The Life.... The Legend).

The advantage of wood is that it makes no sound of its own. Tap a metal horn and you hear a "bongggg". Tap a wooden horn and all you get is a nice short "Thub"! BTW: The Trachorn has two wood layers separated by a layer or absorbent adheasive.

Your on I'm tired of this. Shipping cost is $2499 please remit payment now.

No my thoughts are if I was to do a raod show the amps would end up junk before long just to heavy for constant shipping. So you pay a reasonable fee of $2499 for shipping and you can either throw the amps away or keep them once you have done your evaluation [;)]

Dean,

[:)] I would like to be on your roadshow. I have Heresies and the Khorns. Your pick.

Craig,

You brought a chuckle out of me. Good response there.

Ok. Silliness aside, no need for a roadshow - you only need to

ship them once... to me. Tell you what, I will even pick them up

so no shipping is necessary. Least I could do since you are

providing the amps free for demonstration purposes.
