GEORGIAN

DRBILL

Recommended Posts

I tried the Georgian midhorns on my K-clones. They sounded real good when music is played. When used as a TV speaker, voices sounded split, or cracked. I believe it is caused by the phase difference between the short horn in front and the bigger midhorn itself. It is not noticeable when playing music, at least to my ears.

It is a little rough but beautiful. I have decided that I want a used

single older khorn or one of the licensed builds like this for my

living room. I rarely watch TV and I hate the small speakers in them

and since I don't plan on a home theater I would like a khorn instead.

Since I live in Arkansas I was hoping a classified ad that read

"looking for older large klipsch speaker" may yeild some results. There

must be some older klipsch speakers sitting around in this state

looking for a new home.
