artto
I did this on line, and it only took about 3 minutes total. You can register up to three (3) numbers at a time, but can do more without leaving the site. It is certainly worth it! Just a reminder... Starting February 1, 2006, all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies and you will start to receive sales calls. YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS.... To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone: 888-382-1222. It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time and it blocks your number for five (5) years. HELP OTHERS BY PASSING THIS ON TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS OR GO TO:www.donotcall.gov http://www.donotcall.gov/
billyjoe72
Since I signed up my home phone # a couple years ago, I have had only 1 call and that was last week.
justonemore
Thanks for putting that number up. I've been wanting to get on the list but was too lazy to look it up.
GCDEF
That story about cell phone numbers going to telemarketers is a hoax. Check snopes.
joessportster
you say its a hoax but i was watching the news just the other night and there is a big stink going on right now about thee fact that anyone can get all your personal info on the internet by using your cell # if they pay a fee, they were talking about introducing a bill to block the companys from giving out the info. sunburnwilly
I don't know about the cell phone deal , but I signed up probably 2 years ago for my landline . Allthough I still get them from time to time , realisticly it's around 10% of what I used to get .
