rplace
That is great clearly shows the Chorus/Forte/Quartet is a Heritage speaker. No pseudo heritage, extended heritage or any other BS label people try to pin on them. Thanks for sharing!
mbajner
exactly Chorus, Forte and Quartet are Heritage in my book (and brochure too)
boomer9911
actually I have about 10 of these from each individual Heritage sold at the time,(Khorns\Belles\LaScalas\Hersey II's mint condition, no creases or folds) when I bought my 93 Khorns in Europe, if you have the owners manual from this period for Heritage (2 fold\4 page with rip off send in warranty card intacted) it's actually worth money..I saw a Heritage manual from the 90's go for $27 on Ebay stand alone awhile ago..go figure..[]
Moderators dtel Posted March 15, 2006 Moderators Share Posted March 15, 2006 After reading on this forum for the last 3 years about what is or is not heritage. I thought some of those were not, does this brochure say heritage on the cover ?
jerohm
Actually I "believe" that Brochure is closer to circa 1988/9. The II's and Quartet were the first speakers released on Fred's watch ... Heritage?? beats me. Is a rose by any other name ....
rplace
Straight from the klipsch web site...I think they know a thing or two about their own speakers Forte II - You have selected a Klipsch Classic product. The three-way Heritage Series Forte II was first introduced in 1989 and manufactured by Klipsch until 1996. While no longer in production, Forte II model loudspeakers are still owned and listened to by Kli... More
Moderators dtel Posted March 15, 2006 Moderators Share Posted March 15, 2006 Thanks i didn't read every page, I have Forte ll, somehow i feel a little better that they are considered heritage. I like the sound so the name thing is all in my head i guess ?
mbajner
this brochure I posted is what I received from the dealer in 1996 when I bought my Forte II's was probably printed earlier than 1996 since the lineup did not change for a few years there this was the last year for the Forte II (probably Chorus II and Quartet) the "Heritage" name for the older style Klipsch speakers was not used at that time as others have mentioned
