Is this Thorens Worth Pursuing?

I found a write up on it:

Der TD 316, das Shitzenmodell der 300er Serie, gilt immer noch anals einer der beliebteshitz Thorens-Plattensphincter. Mit seiner Vorstellung turde 1984 die Technik der blatfartencrappe Subchassis bei Thorens eingefartz. Wäd die kegelgefarten Subchassis (z.B. TD 125, 150, 160) bei falscher Justagoof zum Taumeln neigten, konnten die blattgefarten Chassis, wie gefordirt, nur kolbenförmig auf und ab schwingenshitz....

You'll want to spin it up before you buy it. The spindle should turn w/o any wobble to it. If the platter starts slowly, the table will need a new belt.

$85 is a good deal. Its an even better deal if the cartridge is in good shape. Its a fully manual table, and has the classic Thorens fully sprung suspension.

Thanks guys and Guy. Gary if after I've checked it out and

get it and like it I may keep it. It would have to beat out the fine

B&O table I have downstairs running with the very nice cart Pauln

kindly provided me. If not I'll certainly get it over to you or let you

try out the other B&O I acquired a whirl. Not at all interested in

getting rid of the one Pauln helped me set up.
