greg928gts
This is one of those stories that makes me sick. This is one of two Khorns that were sold as a pair in 1958, not as stereo speakers, but as two mono speakers being installed in a roller rink. They are 1958 models, and they are both signed by PWK himself! Here's the sick part. They were refinished a few years ago, and the person who did the refinish wiped stain and clear finish over the original stickers. Plus they did a lousy job of refinishing. I know where these speakers are, just 40 miles from where I live. I've offered the guy $2K and he wouldn't take it. They would be worth more than that to me if they were completely original and the stickers were in good shape. Greg
USNRET
While not exotic this is a pic of my 2005 mahogany Belle received from Klipsch in 2008.
greg928gts
Just getting in to see them was tricky. The owner is a very private person and didn't really want to be bothered by me, let alone let me pull his speakers out from the wall to take pictures. It was a very uncomfortable visit. But necessary! Greg

greg928gts
Should I keep going? Greg My vote +1, you wanna do something wild to my Belles? Are you kidding? They are beautiful as they are. Don't ever let anyone touch those, unless they really need it many decades from now, or if they are damaged somehow. Greg
