Jordan Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Hello everyone, I have just one question. How hard can I drive the RF7's, and for how long? Can they take high volumes well? I have had these for about a week, and haven't really turned it up loud. Input is appreciated. Quote
Audible Nectar Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 They can put out some SERIOUS volume for long periods of time. The key here is to keep your amplifier in the "clean" power range - do not allow the amplifier to "clip" or exceed it's power output capability. Also keep tone controls flat when cranking them up! Forum members here use up to 200 watts per channel on these and they hold up pretty well - just "keep the power clean". Quote
Moderators dtel Posted August 15, 2006 Moderators Posted August 15, 2006 Don't damage your ears . When I was young I never even thought about it, but many years later I am paying for it. Quote
ironwoods Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Hey, that's really 3, but all relative. Maybe eleven? How Long is a Chinese name. Considering the gear in the sig, yer ears should tell ya when enuff znuff, ...........and Yes, they do appreciate input. [] Quote
