hififreq
As some of you may know, I got a pair of '77 La Scalas that were in not-so-nice shape recently. They were originally Black lacquer, then some genius decided that black Krylon might look better. Well........2 months later and alot of Cherry veneer, and they look AWESOME! All of the drivers work perfectly, and the only issue is that one tweeter is a ceramic and ones an alnico. Otherwise all's good. Type AA crossovers. Basshorn and back are satin black now. Squaker is wrinkle black outside and flat black inside. Woofers sound perfect. The cherry veneer has 2 coats of Watco, but has not been rubbed out or waxed yet, so the final finish is up to the new owner. They look great just the way they are though. I found a set of 1975 Belles through a customer that the owner hasn't used in quite a while. The Belles will just fit better in my house due to the shallower depth. I would MUCH prefer a local sale, as shipping is a hassle. I have them listed on Boston Craigslist for $1200.00, but I'll do $1000.00 for any forum member. For $1200.00 I'll throw in a great little Scott 299C that was just serviced. If anyone is interested they can email me directly at rockcityguitars@yahoo.com Thanks, Corey

Me Loves Khorns
Great job on the speakers! Boston's not very close to Texas is it? Good luck on selling them, shouldn't take long on those. Paul

hififreq
Nice job. Go easy on the cooking until you get those beautiful speakers sold. Splatter screen is a must! Fortunately, my hood suck up most of the ugly stuff! L.O.L.!!! Hopefully we've got a member here that needs some La Scalas. I'd rather keep them in the "family". hififreq
WOW! I though for sure someone would need these! If anyone has a reasonable offer, I'll cetainly consider it. I'm kinda pressed for time, as I don't want the local Belles to get sold on me. Any offers? Corey
Parrot
WOW! I though for sure someone would need these! Those look great! A lot of people here already have the speakers they want, or aren't in your geographic area, or are too tight. Often it's tough to sell something fast

psg
Might be the nicest looking La Scala I have seen. Very nice! Good price too, considering all the work you have in them (and the way they turned out!) I'm also surprised that it's difficult finding a buyer.
