My newly restored La Scalas for sale.........Belles are on their way!

As some of you may know, I got a pair of '77 La Scalas that were in

not-so-nice shape recently. They were originally Black lacquer, then

some genius decided that black Krylon might look better. Well........2

months later and alot of Cherry veneer, and they look AWESOME!

All of the drivers work perfectly, and the only issue is that one

tweeter is a ceramic and ones an alnico. Otherwise all's good. Type AA

crossovers. Basshorn and back are satin black now. Squaker is wrinkle

black outside and flat black inside. Woofers sound perfect. The cherry

veneer has 2 coats of Watco, but has not been rubbed out or waxed yet,

so the final finish is up to the new owner. They look great just the

way they are though.

I found a set of 1975 Belles through a customer that the owner hasn't

used in quite a while. The Belles will just fit better in my house due

to the shallower depth.

I would MUCH prefer a local sale, as shipping is a hassle. I have them

listed on Boston Craigslist for $1200.00, but I'll do $1000.00 for any

forum member. For $1200.00 I'll throw in a great little Scott 299C that

was just serviced.

If anyone is interested they can email me directly at rockcityguitars@yahoo.com

Thanks,

Corey

Nice job. Go easy on the cooking until you get those beautiful speakers sold. Splatter screen is a must!
