Cut-Throat
I've tried most all the Single Malts including the Mac 25 and Lag. There are a lot of expensive single malts, but this is largely marketing. Keeping a poor single malt in a cask and releasing it 50 years later will provide a very expensive poor single malt. The best that I've had is the Crag!

The best that I've had is the Crag! You can call it marketing if you will, but I have tried Cragganmore as well and it don't compare to the Macallan's 25, but I guess to each their own. Scotch is like speakers, everybody has a favorite... Mike
Moderators Travis In Austin Posted September 28, 2006 Moderators Share Posted September 28, 2006 Travis: I just now saw your posts about the Booker's. Holy Smokes, man, you didn't have to go to all that trouble (or expense). That's gotta be some very special stuff. Are you absolutley certain you want to send that to Rose? That had to cost you a fortune. Gosh. You are truely a very generous person. I have not told Rose yet about the bottle. I thought it would be fun to see the surprise on her face when it's delivered to her and then offer her the explaination. If you do decide to send it, I will take a picture of her opening the package and post it on the forum. Thank you in advance for your extreme generosity. I know that Rose will greatly appreciate the gesture. You are a very thoughtful person, Travis. Thanks. -Glenn Glenn, It's not a problem; i'm glad to do it for Rose. Can't wait to see the photo. I will let you know when it ships out. Travis
Moderators Travis In Austin Posted September 28, 2006 Moderators Share Posted September 28, 2006 Travis, dwilayer, 124 proof bourbon, which side of the bar are you on?* Rick *The above was a joke to be taken with a grain of salt, a wedge of lemon and some Quervo. I love it!!!! Especially with with some salt and some excellent tequila. But please no Cuervo, it is 20 to 30% grain alcohol (vodka) and they use food coloring to make the Gold. There are so many great ones, but a 3 G's sounds good right now. Travis
