sheltie dave
Tom, at $300, you should buy these!
PrestonTom
Tom, at $300, you should buy these! I know, I know, I know.... If there was only room in my house. The Living room has K-Horns and also Martin-Logans, the den has Cornwalls, the bedroom has Heresy, the study has Magnepans. My grilfriend already thinks I am insane. I have not seen these, however, if the cabinets are not beat up and if the drivers work, it would certainly be a deal. just thinking out loud .... -Tom
Me Loves Khorns
Tom, I doesn't seem like you have TOO many speakers... What abuot the Kitchen, or the master bathroom, your closet. I mean, those rooms might like speakers too. Just keep an open mind. Now, convincing your girlfriend of all of this may be another issue. capo72
A good deal indeed! Buy them if you can swing it Tom. I would be all over it if they were local, but if they were local Sheltie Dave would have beat me to them by a mile. I think he has a 6th sense for that stuff Jeremy

PrestonTom
Update After being mildly lectured by my girlfriend (re: priorities etc), I did phone this AM. The speakers were sold last night for $400. My grandmother had told me about the early bird catching the late worm... -Tom
sheltie dave
Jeremy, I missed out on two(2!!!) sets of AR LSTii speakers at an estate sale last weekend in Oak Brook. I was there, but did not know if I had cap room on the plastic to but them for $250. The guy who bought them resold them for $1800. <SIGH> The screaming deals this week involved Heywood wakefield furniture...
kaiser SET say
Dave, is it safe to say that good looking Wakefield desk and chair belong to Sheltie now[] Looks spotless and not much staining on that seat cushion either[]
