BEEKMAN
I am one of "those" who lurk around in the background and enjoy this forum. I have a pair of K-600's I'll let go for 60 bucks each plus S/H. (Don't worry, I won't kill you on the H part of it) My Zip is 81303. I bought them for a Cornwall Clone build. But after reading about the Bass-bin ideas, I went that direction. I never knew 2 watts of pure class A power could sound so good!!! Send me a PM.
Daddy Dee
Welcome to the forum. So what did you end up building?
BEEKMAN
Did some what a copy of BEC's Bass bin box with his K-33 replacement. On top of it is a seprate face board with a K-77 and a K-55V mounted on a MG PH-800 horn (Thanks again BEC) and using a B-3 network my buddy was going to toss in the trash. The sweet thing about this design is, I have a small listening room (Thanks Honey) and I am able to "toe-in" the tweeter and squaker for my stereo listening pleasure. Like I said, "I never knew 2 watts of class A power could sound so good. Another plus is it gives me lots of room to experiment with different horns and network tweaking. I really want to try the "Voice of the corn" idea.

Daddy Dee
Very cool. If you have time to post some pics, that would be great. I'd love to see your project.
Groomlakearea51
I would like to purchase them; you have a PM with contact information. Thanks.
BEEKMAN
The "Voice of the Corn" as I see it is a Cornwall volume cabinet with a Altec 911B horn and 902 driver combo. I'd even paint it battleship grey if it was WAF. I'll try various xovers.
