Is this a good deal?

I found a used pair of Klipsch KP-250 for $350. It's for a 2 channel
audio setup in my main room (15' x 20'), I'll be driving them with the
Trends TA-10.1 for the moment until I decide to build something better.
I've read as many posts as I could find on this model and haven't been
able to tell if people like them or not... so what's the concensus???
I'll try to post imagesof the speakers.

Thanks for any advice,

Daniel

FWIW, I looked at a pair of these a while ago, but the bass issue becomes important if you are driving them at low volumes. I talked to a well respected Klipsch person who told me that they are really a PA speaker or for use as surrounds in a theater, so I backed off. Good price though, and if you have a sub, they may be a great way to go. I had a pair of the "forerunners" to them, the TH-SR3's. They were not ported, but had the heavy duty woofer and a special crossover. They really came alive when driven with about 100 watts. These probably are the same in performance, if not better.
