turbobusa65
How much trouble would it be to mount grills on the older model La scalas? can they be bought? and would it decrease the value?
TBrennan
Make the grille of a solid piece of 1" thick plywood and it will increase the value.
Daddy Dee
I would imagine that Klipsch parts still stocks these for sale. $50 a pair when I last ordered them. If the LaScala cab has a plain flat face on the HF, some 1/2" moulding would need to be placed around the perimeter to match the factory grille. There are a number of pics on this upgrade that could be found on a forum search.
ricktate
You can order the grills already covered still i think,,,, then use base shoe moulding to make a frame,,,,will look like the factory made ones.Rick
Marvel
Gee, Tom, I thought you weren't going to complain about the LS any longer? Still plan to email you and see when you will be in Georgia so we can get together. Bruce

TBrennan
Oh I'm just havin' a little fun Bruce. I lurk once in awhile but have little to say, things seem kind'a calm here. Some Klipsch guys go to AudioKarma but most fear to venture out from AK's Klipsch ghetto.
Coytee
but most fear to venture out from AK's Klipsch ghetto. Just them Jubilee owners.... they're all wussies.....
TBrennan
I've seen you leave the ghetto Coytee. But you've nothing to fear.
Marvel
I've seen you leave the ghetto Coytee. But you've nothing to fear. Especially now that he uses the heavy artillery... Those Klipschorn Jubilees are moving into the big guns territory.
pauln
As mentioned above, make a frame like this... (this is the stock 2005 La Scala)
