Thanks to all for sharing the wealth, I really appreciate it! I know I have more research to do before I make any purchase, I'm glad I can get some realiable info from you all that are more in the know that I. Besided these guys, what are some other tube amps that are about in the same price range as the 302b-502b, that would be a good alternitive if I didn't go down the Jolida route?

Thanks,

Andrew

What is that price range, again? Integrated, I'm assuming? Let me know.

How about this one?

I called them and they indicated you could also go KT88 with this and they would build it for me if I could wait.

that looks interesting, and its a much lower price, which is always good [:D] have any experience with that amp, or have you heard much about it?

If you have to have a new integrated amplifier for $1500 or under I'd go with this http://www.spearitsound.com/cayin/cayin_a50t.asp.

I have no direct experience with this dealer so do a little research before purchasing from them. I do however know the amplifier. I'd take it over a Jolida anyday of the week. Similar sound, both made in China, but the Cayin has better build quality and more features. The Primaluna line mention earlier in this thread is basically the same amplifiers made on the same factory line with the same parts. The circuit is slightly modified and the name is changed to protect the innocent. I don't care for the changes made to the Primiluna line myself. Yup I have had them here before also. The changes are for the most part all slick advertising motivated.

I've fine tuned a few of these amps for klipsch speakers.

I have not. I think a well built Dynaco gets good reviews, so I am assuming this would be as good or better. Also, if you have it built and shipped it won't end being that much cheaper.

Anybody else out there with thoughts?

I've heard an all Cayin system and was pleasantly suprised. Good bang for the buck.
