DLUngurait
I lost power at my office in Miami for about 1.5 hours...fortunately we have a generator.
Groomlakearea51
124-126 volts all day at the office and now at the house and holding steady (100 miles south of Orlando in the middle of nowhere....). There was a Severee Weather Warning issued about an hour ago by the National Weather Service, but for areas north east of here. Very strong winds right now, about 20-25 knots. Groomlakearea51
From the NPR local station news this morning. There was an "unexplained" fire at a substation in the Miami area. The nuke plant shut off power to the sub-station and thus 3.5 million people lost power. They are still working on why it happened and there are still about 20,000 people without power (as of about 6:00 AM this morning).
